YOU DECIDE: Project: Super Secret Customizable Clothing Templates

As promised, Spike Hike has released a new Project: Super Secret spoiler on the Club Penguin blog. In this particular post, Spike Hike talks a bit more about the customisation of the clothes in Projecr Super Secret. Spike Hike says that ever since he started working for Club Penguin, he's wanted to give us the ability to customise what we wear. PSS will be giving us that opportunity as soon as it is released.

He concludes with asking us to comment down below with what items we'd like to have customisable in Project: Super Secret.

Last time I was on the blog, we chatted about new app currently available in Australia and New Zealand called Mix. Today, I want to bring it back to Club Penguin, and share with you something I'm super excited about!

Ever since I started working on Club Penguin, we've wanted to give our community the ability to customize the clothes and items you wear. As you've seen in previous sneak peeks, Project: Super Secret is going to deliver on that, and more. The best part? We'd like your help coming up with items you'd like to be able to customize in the clothing customizer!

Help Stop Bots from Ruining Club Penguin!

Hello penguins.

I'm sure you've all had this experience: You'll log on to a server on Club Penguin, and you'll see a penguin, standing in the middle of a room. Shouting nonsense like "SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!" followed by something like "WOOKY UP" "JOIN TODAY."

What these are, are bots on Club Penguin. They are not affiliated with Club Penguin at all, but they aren't normal penguins either like you and I. They are automatic scripted programs, or bots, designed to advertise something, like an army or a website, and more recently Club Penguin Private Servers. While armies on CP are very fun and can grow into amazing communities, bots aren't. They need to be stopped.

Bots work by making tons of free accounts and then immediately jumping onto a server to spam their messages, cleverly written to bypass the filter and show up for everybody else on the server! I think it is time that we take a stand against these advertising bots and try to stop them. For good.

Club Penguin Mobile App Update – 1.6.18

The Club Penguin App (formerly called My Penguin) has updated to its most recent version: version 1.6.18 for all mobile and tablet devices that the application is available on.

Club Penguin has updated it for the 2016 Zootopia Party that was launched May 18, 2016. The system requirements for this app are iOS 7 or later and Android 4.0.3 or later.

Penguin of the Week: Cherry Pink - May 24, 2016

On Tuesday May 24, Club Penguin posted a new Penguin of the Week to the Club Penguin blog. Originally scheduled for the day before, Monday, as per usual, it was pushed back due to the offices being closed for Victoria Day, a national holiday celebrated in Canada.

Club Penguin Zootopia Party 2016 Cheats Guide

Get ready for Club Penguin's longest party yet. That's right, the official Zootopia Party of 2016 has taken over Club Penguin. This party, that started on May 19, will conclude on July 6th, marking it the longest party of all time.

Some penguins have theorised that the length of the party will buy the team just enough time to finalise their huge secretly project, appropriately titled Project: Super Secret (where the game will be moving from flash to 3D) and speculate that this will be the last party on "2D" Club Penguin.

Club Penguin: Soccer Pitch Returns - May 2016

After months of the Ice Rink dominating the Stadium on Club Penguin, it has finally reverted back to the Soccer Pitch that it once was.

The green is grass, the soccer ball moves fast and the penguins kick with sass. The adverts on the side always amuse me. They advertise sports in the Stadium, makes sense right?!

It's changed on the map too! Look at that luscious green field.

Club Penguin Pin Cheat - Pawpsicle Pin

The newest collectible Club Penguin pin has been released. The Club Penguin Team release a hidden pin every fortnight on the island for penguins to locate and pick up.

The new pin is called the Pawpsicle Pin, and is the island's 360th pin to date. It is hidden at the Forest. Below I have provided an image of it.

Club Penguin Times Issue #549 - The Pride of Zootopia

Hello everyone, it's a Wednesday, and you know what that means?! The newest edition of the Club Penguin Times is out! The Club Penguin Times is the island's bi-weekly newspaper. The newest issue is the seventeenth issue of 2016 and the 549th issue of all time.

This particular newspaper focuses on the Zootopia party that has taken the island by storm recently, with the headline being The Pride of Zootopia, an article written by Aunt Arctic. In this article, she interviews Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde the fox. The interview goes swimmingly, which is a weird adverb to use for land mammals such as Hopps and Wilde. Anyway, it goes very well. Even Dot the Design Gal and Agent Rookie join in, along with Sensei! Take a look.

Club Penguin Updates Today - May 18, 2016

Club Penguin will be updating as per usual on Wednesday, May 18th. There is no schedule on when the updates release, but it will be afternoon or evening in Club Penguin. It may be different for you, depending on your timezone.

Club Penguin Zootopia Party 2016 Billboard Advertisement

Club Penguin's Zootopia Party of 2016 has officially been announced through the Club Penguin homepage and the log-in screen in the form of what the game calls a "billboard."

Recently, their new "billboard" advertisement went up, broadcasting the party, which will be taking place from May 19 all the way through June and finally coming to a conclusion July 6.

The billboard advertises different costumes that will be available to members, featuring characters from the film! The character costumes advertised on the poster are Lieutenant Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Assistant Mayor Bellwether and Officer Clawhauser (from left to right).

It seems the costumes look very movie-realistic, as if Zootopia is actually Club Penguin. This makes me very excited to see the final product of the Zootopia Party!

Club Penguin Blog: May 2016 Updates!

Since the recent calamities with the Club Penguin Times newspaper being released biweekly, the pin release dates being changed and a lot of general confusion in the community has gotten out of control, Megg has decided that enough is enough, and that it's time clear it all up.

So, she has taken a stand and written a community blog post talking about the issues and publishing an updates schedule for the rest of May to help our confusion and lead us into understanding.

In this post, she mentions that the "ink shortage" which lead the newspaper to be released less often was the result of her adventures as a Squid! That's why she's been silent recently, she's been having OTHER hobbies!

Megg mentions that this allows the team to spend a lot more time focusing the "new series coming later this year". Wait, what?! New series? Is this an animated series, something coming to our television screens, possibly something more? I can't wait.

Club Penguin May 2016 Penguin Style Catalog

Club Penguin's May 2016 Penguin Style clothing catalog is out. Because the Zootopia Party is near, Club Penguin has added various items from the Zootopia movie to this catalog, as well as some general animal-related items too! As you can see from the front cover, there is an angry penguin, who appears to be a call assistant. I wonder what they're so angry about!

Club Penguin Times Issue #548 - Wild Tourists Incoming!

Hello everyone, it's a Wednesday, and you know what that means?! The newest edition of the Club Penguin Times is out! The Club Penguin Times is the island's bi-weekly newspaper. The newest issue is the sixteenth issue of 2016 and the 548th issue of all time.

The newspaper for today focuses on the upcoming Zootopia Party of 2016. It will be hitting Club Penguin this month. Read "Club Penguin ZOOTOPIA Party Coming in May" to find out more about this. We also have some exciting upcoming events, not to forget an interview with Sam the Sasquatch!

The main article for the 548th Club Penguin Times is called Wild Tourists Incoming, written by Aunt Arctic. In this story, she talks about how she thinks the Zootopia party will transform the island into a zoo! Aunt Arctic mentions that they are building different environments around Club Penguin to fit every kind of animal from the Zootopia film. So many in fact, that she thinks even HERBERT will be able to find something he likes. Wow! Make sure to read the whole article below.
