Today, Club Penguin have released their brand new party, The Great Snow Race!
Here is a video tutorial:
Here is a text tutorial:
To start, click on the Great Snow Race poster at The Town near the bottom left of the screen and hit 'Go There!'
This will bring you to the Ski Village, where your adventure begins! Waddle through the archway that says: 'The Great Snow Race" on.
You're now in the Supply Room. Here is what the room looks like:
If you are a member and have some coins, you can purchase some ski gear to show off on your mission.
Now waddle across the track towards the sign that says 'Half Pipe'
You should end up in the Ice Room Cavern. You must now complete a puzzle to enter the next room, to complete this, just click on all of the icicles to make them move out of the way.
Click to go to the next room, the base camp. Follow the sign that says 'Sled Race At Top' with an upwards pointing arrow.
You will be in the next room. To enter the next room you must click on the branch multiple times and use it to wipe snow off the axe. Then click on the axe to chop the log.
Now the log has fallen, throw about 3 snowballs at the icicles above the ice mechanism. They will fall, the log will fly over and create a bridge to the next room.
Once you have waddled through it, you will be at the top of the mountain and you will earn the "Mountaineer" stamp. You can also receive a free Alpine Helmet by clicking on the box of Alpine Helmets.
You can sled back down to the bottom, but before you do, you can buy some upgrades from the Ski Mountain catalog at the Tallest Mountain. Once you have sledged down you will be right back at the Supply Camp again. If you ever want to go back up to the Top of the Mountain, you can just go over to the Ice Climb now that you have already completed it at least once.
You have now completed the August 2011 Club Penguin Great Snow Race! What do you think of this party, cool, or not? Leave us a comment below!

Club Penguin have released a new website homepage design! Look:
I think this is amazing, definitely better than the old. In the background you can see Herbert. Wait... what? EPF agents get ready, there's gonna be another mission that needs solving! What do you think of this new design?
Hello Penguins!
The EPF is a long saga to explain. In this new video uploaded by Club Penguin, it shows EPF Agents playing the tuba where you see a mysterious shadow that may look like Herbert & Klutzy!
I completely love this video! It shows how sneaky EPF Agents are. Hopefully, Herbert or Klutzy doesn't find this video! The EPF is now in our hands. What will happen next?
It's been a little while since our last Reviewed by You! Last time, we asked you what was your favourite part of the Island Adventure Party. Suite106 had this to say:
My Favorite Part of the party is the ship battle! You have the pirates with complicated cannons to load and the penguin navy with easy to load cannons. I actually like to be the pirates because I have an actual pirate costume and I like more of a chalenge. I Also Like the different bases in the cove and the beach and the things people say make it better. Rock on CP!
Thanks for all the great reviews, everyone!
For this Reviewed by You, we'd like to hear from members of a top secret organization...
*** Warning! The following information is for EPF agents only.***
As some of you may already know, there's a new level of System Defender launching very soon. So this week, we want to talk about what a great job you do to keep the island safe. Agents: tell us about an agent that's gone over and beyond the call of duty for the EPF!
Write your review as a short comment (50-75 words, please!). We'll pick one comment to feature in next week's Reviewed by You. If your review is featured next week, we'll add 10,000 coins to the top elite agent you nominated. Don't forget to tell us their penguin name so we can add the coins!
Whenever Rockhopper visits the island, there is a game called Treasure Hunt, in the Captain's Quarters room aboard the Migrator!
It is a multi-player game, where two players work together to find buried treasure hidden inside a sandbox. You can find coins (worth 1 Club Penguin coin each), rubies (worth 25 coins each), and even an emerald (worth a bonus of 100 coins). The objective is to collect as many coins as possible by the end of the game.
Players alternate turns and have 6 turns each. Player 1 selects where a row of sand is dug up and Player 2 selects where a column of sand is dug up. Where the rows and columns intersect, the sand is dug all the way down to where the treasure may be.
Here's another quick update on what we've been working on behind the scenes here at the Club Penguin office. We're excited about some new things coming in the next few months. Here's a few of them:
New System Defender level - We're just about finished a brand new level for the EPF-only game System Defender. The new level will be released at the end of this week. Remember that you'll need to be a secret agent to play the game!
The Great Snow Race - Next week we'll be releasing the first ever "Great Snow Race", a party for extreme sports fans! We'll let you know more about this one next week. But for now, here's a little sneak peek:
Bugs squashed - There are a few silly bugs out there that we're in the process of squashing. Don't worry -- we've heard you and we're working on them every week. Thanks for letting us know about them. Remember to let us know what web browser you're using and the server you were on if you're letting us know about a bug.
Beta Team testing -- We're just about finished setting up something special for Beta Team testers. Testers: get ready to help beta test something a little different than a game...
As always, let us know if you have any questions by sending us a comment. We're here to help you!
Today Gary responded to Jet Pack Guy's question and that's what he answered
"August 16 G Check this week's newspaper for more info. It's a special edition scented with fish oil. Don't miss it."
So as we can see Gary is planning something big and I think that this party will rock the island. What do you think guys? Leave your opinion and don't forget to comment!
As most of you know there was a Puffle Bug. The Bug was that when you were clicking on your puffle to feed, wash or just hang out around the island with him, his profile couldn't load. That was really stupid because first you had to restart the game and second you couldn't even take your sweet puffle for a walk. But now after a week the bug is repaired! Finally! Take a look what happened when I tried to open my orange hairy ball profile today:
Yes, his profile finally opened! After one or two weeks. Hm..that was from me and also that was my second post. So what do you think? Leave your opinion in the comments. See you in my next post but until then...
...Waddle On!
Hello Penguins!
It was a normal day for me at Club Penguin when I saw that my EPF Spy Phone was blinking blue meaning that I got a message. In this case, this message comes from Jet Pack Guy.
"So G, I was wondering, when are we going to hear more about that party you're planning?"
Gary The Gadget Guy will obviously reply to this message. What will happen next in the EPF Saga? Drop a prediction below.
