Megg Wants to See Your Frozen Inspired Outfits and Igloos!

The Frozen Fever Party 2016 is in full swing on Disney's Club Penguin, and Megg -- the social media manager and main blogger for the official What's New blog -- wants to see your Frozen inspired outfits and igloos you've created for the party!

She made a new blog post today called Show Us Your Frozen Inspired Outfits and Igloos, in which she describes a list of the outfits and igloos she wants to see from us. The idea is to dress up according to her rules, and then submit it to the Fan Art page. She'll be posting some of the best before the party ends, so what are you waiting for? What is an SWF? – a brief introduction to Small Web Formats and Flash

A small web format (commonly abbreviated to 'SWF' and its plural form SWFs), is a flash file used for multimedia, vector graphics and ActionScript. The file format belongs to Adobe, currently being used in their program Adobe Flash.

SWF used to stand for ShockWave Flash file, however this meaning was eliminated and it was changed to small web format to avoid confusion.

An SWF, most simply, is a macromedia file. But it holds a deeper meaning to us Club Penguin players, of course. The reason for this is because without SWF files, the game would cease to exist, because Club Penguin was built out of, and runs with flash.

Club Penguin YOU DECIDE: Music Jam Themed Items

A 'classic' reinstalment of the excessively popular Music Jam festival is returning this year on Club Penguin. Many features and items from past loved Music Jam parties are making their way onto the island again, as well as some new items, that Megg wants your help to create!

On the Club Penguin Blog, she has asked for help with this party in a new post entitled YOU DECIDE: Music Jam Themed Items.

In the post, she asks us: "If you could wear swag from past Music Jams, or even create a new item, what would you choose? Let me know in the comments and jam on, penguin friends!"

You heard it right folks, Megg wants our help with reviving old items and adding new items for the Music Jam 2016!

Club Penguin Frozen Fever Party 2016 Cheats

Club Penguin's brand new party has arrived today on the island, the Frozen Fever Party 2016!

This party was officially announced on the official What's New blog on August 2, 2016 in a post made by Megg, who claims the party is making it's return for everyone who missed out on the Frozen Parties of 2014 and 2015.

It is the seventeenth sponsored party Club Penguin is hosting, and the third in the line of Frozen parties. It will be running from today (August 17) until September 28.

Club Penguin Pin Cheat - Breakfast Bun Pin

The newest collectable Club Penguin pin has been released. The Club Penguin Team release a hidden pin every fortnight on the island for penguins to locate and pick up.

The new pin is called the Breakfast Bun Pin, also known as the Cinnabon Bacon Pin, and is the island's 368th pin to date. It is hidden at the Lodge Attic. Below I have provided an image of it.

Club Penguin Times Issue #555 - FROZEN FEVER!

It's August 17th, 2016, which means it's been 2 weeks since Club Penguin's last instalment of their fortnightly newspaper, the Club Penguin Times. So, a new issue has been released: issue 555, bringing us to the twenty-third newspaper of this year, and, as the issue number suggests, the five hundred and-fifty-fifth issue of all time.

This newspaper contains information about the newest party Club Penguin has released, the Frozen Fever party of 2016. In this issue we also bid farewell to the Finding Dory party that has just concluded, and Rookie says goodbye to Dory.

The featured article for this "consecutively-digited"newspaper is called Frozen Fever! written by Aunt Arctic, who has finally returned to editing the newspapers again. It feels like forever! In the article, Aunt Arctic describes how this month's party has hit the island hard! She wants us to give a warm (or cold) welcome to Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf once again. Filled with jokes and the aunt's classic wit, this article is sure to bring a smile to any Frozen fan's face.

This is not a drill. I repeat, this is not a drill! Megg has made a spontaneous blog post on the Club Penguin official blog inviting us to join Captain Rockhopper on Club Penguin to celebrate lighthouse day TODAY, August 7, 2016.

Rockhopper will be online Club Penguin at 10:00AM PST on the server Cloudy and 3:00PM PST on the server Fog!

PST stands for Penguin Standard Time, the timezone that the game uses may be different to ours, so use the clock at the Snow Forts to make sure you don't miss out on this.

Everything You Need to Know About The Frozen Fever Party 2016

A lot of penguins are upset about some recent news that broke out on Club Penguin. Some penguins are happy, but most are unhappy.

What is this news, you ask? Well, Megg recently gave some hints out on Twitter and the Club Penguin Blog that for the third year in a row, Club Penguin will be hosting a Frozen-theme party. 

After the success of Disney's Frozen (2013), Club Penguin decided to hold their official Frozen party in 2014 and a re-run called the Frozen Fever party in 2015. People thought that after these two parties came and went, the hype would be over, but the news that another Frozen party coming created tension within the community, most because penguins were craving an original party, instead of a 'takeover'.

The party coming this year will be the second Frozen Fever party (and hopefully the last for some). So, here is everything you need to know about the Frozen Fever 2016 party on Club Penguin.

When?

The party will be held from August 18th to September 28th, 2016. That is a grand total of 42 days that the party will be available on the island, or 6 weeks.

Where?

All over the island, ya silly. The Frozen Fever party will be on every Club Penguin server in all languages available on the game.

Why?

The party is being hosted because Megg states that a lot of players requested it, and this is a party for the players that missed out on the 2014 and 2015 parties.

To those who have experience with Club Penguin, please help out the new players with your top tips about what to do at the party.

What?

According to Megg, "the island will once again be decked out in your favorite rooms from the Frozen Party, along with places inspired by Disney's Frozen Fever animated short."

There will be a running quest throughout the party as well, penguins will be able to waddle around the island collecting snowflakes. These snowflakes will unlock prizes, and once you've collected them all, a special item—the Ice Party Hat—will be unlocked for you to wear.

Members can: adopt the Olaf puffle (also known as the snowman puffle) and transform into Olaf and Marshmallow.

Club Penguin Blog: August 2016 Updates

Megg has written a new post on the Club Penguin blog with the updates calendar for August 2016. The first updates for July will take place on the 3rd, with the last taking place on August 31.

There will be fourteen total updates for the month of August on Club Penguin. I will post the full blog post with the calendar down below for you to read.

Club Penguin Pin Cheat - Mancala Pin

The newest collectable Club Penguin pin has been released. The Club Penguin Team release a hidden pin every fortnight on the island for penguins to locate and pick up.

The new pin is called the Mancala Pin also known as the Mancala Game Table Pin, and is the island's 365th pin to date. It is hidden at the Arcade. Below I have provided an image of it.

Club Penguin Times Issue #554 - Exploring The Dropoff

The fortnightly Club Penguin Times newspaper is looked forward to by many, including myself, so when it comes out I just can't wait to read it and post all about it on Cheats With Dino. That's the reason I'm here today. The newest newspaper issue is the twenty-second of 2016, and the 554th of all time.

The Club Penguin Times newspaper issue #554 has articles from the wacky Agent Rookie and the mysterious White Belt. Rookie's article has more from the Finding Dory 2016 party, whilst White Belt delves into a story from Sensei on Tusk.

Rookie's article is the featured article of this newspaper, and is called Exploring The Dropoff. In this article, Rookie seems to be exploring the dropoff in the current Club Penguin party

Your Favourite Celebrities As Club Penguin Characters!

If there's one thing I've always loved about Club Penguin, it's how the game can stay so original to the snowy, desolate island canon whilst still bringing in realistic, real-world elements. For example, we know that we're playing as penguins who live on an island in the middle of nowhere, but we can still get a coffee whenever we want, play games, dress up with fashionable items and even access computers and mobile phones in the game.

The game is as realistic and relatable to modern-day Western society as it can be. Or is it? Do we need something more? We have the clothes, the food, the activities, etc... but we don't have the people.

That's why today we will be looking at what four of your favourite celebrities would look like in Club Penguin.

#1 – Elvis Presley

You'd be lying if you said you didn't know who Elvis Presley is. Elvis, also known as "the King" was the most influential 1950s rock 'n' roll star the world has ever seen. With such classic hits as "Hound Dog," "Jailhouse Rock" and "An American Trilogy," Elvis was truly an inspiration. So it's no wonder we'd want to see him re-created in Club Penguin. The closest the team has come to resembling Elvis was in the July 2008 Penguin Style catalog, sporting a very fancy outfit!
