Club Penguin Updates Today - August 3, 2016

Club Penguin will be updating as per usual on Wednesday, August 3rd. There is no schedule on when the updates release, but it will be afternoon or evening in Club Penguin. It may be different for you, depending on your country's time-zone.

The updates will include:

• Club Penguin Times 554
• New Pin released
• Penguin Style Clothing Catalog - August 2016
• Furniture & Igloo Catalog - August 2016

Club Penguin #ProjectSuperSecret Clothing Customiser Update!

Hello everyone! I have some new and exciting news regarding Project: Super Secret for you today. On Club Penguin's official YouTube channel, a video called "Project: Super Secret Clothing Customizer Update - Disney Club Penguin" was uploaded, a video previewing more about the clothing customiser that we all know is hitting the 'new Club Penguin'.

This is big news; the last time we heard about the clothing customiser was when it was announced back in July 2015.

From the video, I have gathered a few things. It seems as if each edit we make to a costme costs coins. We can select a template for a costume and add patterns from two tabs: Fabrics and Decals. The ability to scale certain patterns up to make them larger is also a choice that can be made. Along with this, the arms (or flippers) can be edited separetly from the body or the feet!

From this short 1:47 clip, we can already see much more choice, and even very small features like the aligning of a certain pattern can be manipulated. This looks like it's a big step-up from Club Penguin's original clothes selection of pre-made designs and very limited outfit combinations. This new update to clothes looks like it is truly unlimited.

Club Penguin Blog: A Message from Herbert

This just in! Herbert P. Bear has sent in a special message to Megg, right after his plans of shrinking and turning the entire Island monochrome during his latest operation, Operation: Tri-Umph, have failed him. In the message he mentions it is not over yet, and that he will get the last laugh! I hope this is just a scare tactic... you can read the message below.

Club Penguin Blog: Puffle Spotlight: Kickin' it Primary

For the build-up to Club Penguin's 2016 Puffle Party, blog writer Megg is featuring all of the Island's greatest puffles with her new Puffle Spotlight series.

The first puffle she is putting in the spotlight is the red puffle! If you want to learn more about this creatively cool creature, you can take a look at her blog entry below.

You'll be red in the face if you can't guess which puffle we're rolling out the red carpet for. I'll give you a hint: This puffle is a daredevil with red-hot surf moves!

Okay, you caught me red-handed: we're celebrating the red puffle!

This extreme puffle arrived on Club Penguin in 2006. But the coolest part? They came from ROCKHOPPER ISLAND!

No wonder Yarr and Rockhopper are so close. They're both intrepid pirates!

Watch Now: We Wish You a Merry Walrus Holiday Special!

Club Penguin are previewing their holiday special: "We Wish You a Merry Walrus" right now on the What's New blog. I have embedded it below if you prefer to watch it from CheatsWithDino.com directly.

We Wish You a Merry Walrus is a holiday-themed television special based on Club Penguin. It features a multitude of new and old characters from the franchise, such as Roofhowse and Rockhopper, who go on a mission to save the Merry Walrus. Source.

Club Penguin Update The 'Create Your Penguin' Page

The account creation page has updated on the Club Penguin official website, sporting an entire new look and simplified way to create and customise your account when creating a new penguin. They have added an around-the-clock colour chooser, the removal of confirming the parent email, and a new 'captcha' system. The new captcha system asks you to choose an image to prove you're a human (or penguin should I say) right before moving to the next step. Overall, I think it looks pretty new, and the update is more modern and refreshing. It has that social network sort of feel, and the fresh design compliments Club Penguin's current era. Below I will show the current new design, and further I will preview the old page for the sake of comparison.

The picture above gives us a look at the captcha system. Robots cannot tell the difference between two objects when asked for the names of them, as there is no one perfect form of an object that the robots can be trained or learn to distinguish from, only we (humans) can. So, this system's purpose is to rule out bots that create accounts, hopefully leading to the suppression of bots and army advertisers we see around the island of Club Penguin, hopefully leading to a safer environment. I have emailed Disney's support team for CP and they've persisted in telling me that they are getting it under control behind the scenes, and I believe this is one of the more upfront methods they are taking, and I do think it would work well.

Here is what the Create a Penguin page looked like before, for comparison. Notice the change in how colours are chosen, and the starburst that has now been removed, surrounding the model penguin. 

Do you agree that the update was worthwhile? I think it is nice to see pages being updated now and again, especially since great improvement has been made with the functionality still remaining. Good job, Club Penguin!

Club Penguin Descendants Party 2015 Walkthrough

Club Penguin have released a new party for the Disney Descendants film: the Descendants Party 2015! This takeover/party will run for the next two weeks on the island. After that comes the 10th Anniversary Party and possibly the Halloween party. This post will be showing you a complete walkthrough for the 2015 Descendants Party. In this cheats guide I will show you how to get the free items for ALL players, the rooms that have been decorated for the party, and generally give you an insight to what the party is all about!

When you log in to Club Penguin, you will be greeted with the following message:
Hey, I’m Mal. The Descendants are taking over CP University! Time to be bad – in a good way.

First of all, you'll need to click the Descendants logo in the top right of your screen.

Then you can click the claim button for each of the items! Members get access to better costumes, but there are some really neat items for the non-members, thanks CP!

Club Penguin Mobile App Update – 1.6.10

Club Penguin have updated their official mobile app, and the update list on the App Store declares it is ready for the new Disney party that will be arriving this Thursday!!

Club Penguin Disney Descendants Party Promotion Slider

Club Penguin are advertising their 2015 Descendants party, scheduled to hit the island September 17, and run through until September 30. The advertisement is on the homepage, and is one of the sliders. It shows the logo designed for Club Penguin and the main characters have been 'penguinized'.

This Week's Club Penguin Updates Are Rescheduled

Club Penguin have decided to reschedule their Wednesday update for this week until Thursday, so there will be more time to submit your final outfits and vote for your favourites.

Club Penguin Monsters University Takeover 2013 Cheats

Disney's first ever Monsters University Takeover party on Club Penguin for 2013 has arrived. This party is based off of the Pixar movie Monsters University. The aim of this takeover on the island, is to choose a team, and compete in the Scare Games (I'll get to it in a moment). You can collect items and meet new penguins along the way. So without further ado, here is my Club Penguin MU Takeover cheats guide!

Firstly, when you log in and pick a server, you must choose a team to join. The teams are:
OK (Oozma Kappa)
ROR (Roar Omega Boar)
PNK (Python Nu Kappa)
JOX (Jaws Theta Chi)

I choose OK. Because they have cake.

Once chosen, click on your map and click "Go There!" underneath the Scare Games banner.

You will head into the main Monsters University room. Now, the Scare Games is where all four teams compete by scaring fake robotic penguins as they sleep. The aim is to scare as many penguins as you can in order to obtain the most coins/points for your team. 

When you head into the penguins room, you must creep over to their bed avoiding obstacles on the way, and attempt to scare them. The controls are left and right arrows, up and down arrows, and spacebar. Try to keep the penguin asleep until you come close to them.

Be careful to jump over obstacles, or you may wake up the penguin!!

When you are close to the bed, hold down spacebar whilst stepping on the red pad to scare the penguin more.

You will earn points based upon your performance. I earned 100 since I only scared 1 penguin,

With these points, items can be bought! Wear them and dance with them to roar and scare other players.

A whole page of items is released every day!

There are four new emotes for the MU Takeover.

Club Penguin Sending Out New Penguin Activation Emails

When a new penguin is created, Club Penguin send out emails to the parents of that account. There are two emails that send, one to activate the account, and one to confirm the activation/welcome the penguin. The style of these emails has been changed. They now look more professional than the previous emails and the quality is better, they are also easy to read and instructions are clearer.

Disney Club Penguin Magazine Launching in the UK!

Disney's Club Penguin have announced that their very own magazine will be releasing all across the United Kingdom February 9th 2012. In celebration of it being the first issue ever, it is titled the 'Mega Gift Issue!', and will have lots of free stuff inside, including 1,500 coins for every reader, 2 secret codes for your penguin inside, how to win a free 7 day membership, and much much more.

The magazine itself will be published by Panini and sell for £2.99. It will be 36 pages long, and launched every four weeks. Each issue will also include two secret codes to unlock exclusive items online. It will be supported with advertisements online and on TV channels across the UK. I think the Club Penguin magazine will be a great hit and be sure to buy it if you're a United Kingdom resident.

Today, I was looking through some websites on Disney, and I found some very cool sneak peeks of the new puffle hats released in stores last Thursday! The puffle hats are very similar to each other. Some are in a crazy hair style and some for for cold winters!
