Club Penguin History - Shamrock Pin

Written by: || Tags:
As you may know, one of Club Penguin's most popular items is their pin, an item you can collect every two weeks that are hidden around the island for us to collect and show off in our playercards. For me, they are what make Club Penguin special. As they are only released for two weeks and then they are gone forever. This way you can tell how old or rare a penguin is via their stamp book or playercard.

Today we will be talking about the most iconic pin there is, the oldest and the rarest: the Shamrock Pin.
  • The Shamrock Pin was released on March 17, 2006 and stayed for two weeks until March 31, 2006 at the Coffee Shop during the 2006 St. Patrick's Day Party.
  • It is the 3rd rarest item ever, the Red/Hawaiian Lei being 2nd and 1st the Beta/Party hat.
  • It is the rarest pin in the entire game.
  • It has never been brought back, however, a pin named "Lucky Coin" was released in March 2009 that had a shamrock inside of a gold coin, that most penguins wore to act rare.
  • Due to how old it is, not many penguins nowadays know when the pin came out and how old it is.

This is a penguin named Lunga929, who owns the pin, among many other rare items in the game.
