Club Penguin Apologises for Featuring a Hacker in Last Week's POTW

Written by: || Tags:

Last week, Club Penguin featured a Penguin of the Week by the name of Huge R5 Fan. This particular penguin was nominated by their friend Disney Fan 8i. However, they were unaware of one crucial rule to submitting a penguin for POTW.

It has come to Club Penguin's attention that the penguin that won has used cheating methods to hack in items for their igloo. This was noticed recently by people in the community. Club Penguin, upon hearing it, has apologised in their newest Penguin of the Week update.

This is the statement that Megg left about the dilemma:

Hi Penguins!

Before we announce this week's Penguin of the Week, we first want to say sorry!

Last week, we chose a penguin that had broken a very important Club Penguin rule. While we cannot take back last week's nomination, we have taken steps to make sure this doesn't happen again in the future. We'd also like to thank everyone for understanding that mistakes do happen, and for helping keep our community a safe and fun place. :)

It is nice to see that the mistakes were retracted, but extra caution must be taken in the future to prevent these things from happening again.
