Have you ever sat down and wondered: what would Gary the Gadget Guy would look like if he and Aunt Arctic swapped penguin colours, so Gary was green and AA was blue? Yeah, me neither.
Until today...
It's an interesting concept though, right? Would a mascot really suit being a different colour? Maybe Club Penguin could've made Dot -- for example -- yellow instead of pink, and it would be a massive game-changer.
Today I set out to explore what Club Penguin's most renowned mascots would looked like if they were colour-swapped. I opened up Photoshop, and two PNGs, and the rest is history.
#1 – DJ Cadence and Puffle Handler
For some reason, I've always wondered what the two most well-known female mascots would look like with reversed colours.
I must admit, Cadence looks like she's just been under one of Tay Zonday's Chocolate Rainfalls, but other than that -- I think she's not half bad.
PH, on the other hand, appears to be getting ready for an 80s disco night... just look at that vibrant hair! Does not suit her clothes at all, but do you think she pulled it off? I'd say yes. Leave me a comment below.
#2 – Aunt Arctic and Gary the Gadget Guy
Okay, okay. Get your giggles out. I have some critical points to make about this.
Let's just start with Aunt Arctic. For a start, I can see why she was originally green, not blue. I get it. The blue does not, at all work with her pink sweater + toque combo. Maybe it would look better in grey or something, I am not sure. Anyway, I think it is safe to say this didn't go so well. FAIL.
Gary is looking a bit swanky if I do say so myself. I think he rocks the green! He does look a bit sick, not in the skater way, unfortunately. He literally looks like he's coming down with a cold. Maybe he can use his automatic-nose-wiper 3000 to help clean up his snot.
#3 – Herbert P. Bear, Esquire
For this one, I didn't have anyone to swap him with, except for maybe Frost Bite, but he's already made of ice/snow, so he's practically white already. I was just curious what Herbert look like if he were a light blue.
He looks like he's frozen in ice, like a reverse Han Solo. I don't think he can pull it off, not healthily anyway, but you may have a different opinion, so let me know below.
