The Club Penguin App (formerly called My Penguin) has updated to its most recent version: version 1.6.21 for all mobile and tablet devices that the application is available on.
Club Penguin has updated it for the 2016 Halloween Party that was launched September 28, 2016. The system requirements for this app are iOS 7 or later and Android 4.0.3 or later.
The update includes the spooky, scary Halloween Party of 2016, on from now until November 2.
Here is the icon for the app. It is the face of a ghost puffle, one of the characters from Club Penguin's famous Halloween parties.

"Trick or treat during Club Penguin's Halloween Party Sept. 28 - Nov. 2. Everyone can explore a spooky island and members can adopt ghost puffles and dress up in costumes. Don't forget to pick up your exclusive Party Hat starting Oct. 19 to celebrate Club Penguin's 11th anniversary!"
